On a previous article, we talked about espresso tamping which is a very important process of making espresso or any type of coffee for that matter.

Today, we will talk about milk frothing. Frothing is also another very important part in making the perfect espresso, cappuccino or latte; however, it is an area that does not get much attention these days and most people don’t really know the art of doing it. You’re not wrong to think that it is simply blowing bubbles underneath the milk level but of course it is not as simple as doing that :D

Before you get all excited about frothing your next cup of espresso, it takes a little work and even the most experienced barista needs to have some practice therefore, it is something that needs to be mastered and this comes with time and practice.
