It's only the beginning...

After joining the acapella group, The Wicked Pitches, coupled with the fact that a performance in the coming months struck me as to how burdening the workload will become. I got a shock when they said that 18 songs weren't enuf...I was like SHIT...and all of them needs to be memorized so after a brief discussion that day, it was decided at least 25 songs. So I've been wandering as if 9 systems, OSCE, OSPE isn't enough yet, another 25 songs have to be in my head at that same time. Could my synapses and neurons handle it? Or is some spontaneous synaptic connection forming? I sure hope it would be the latter.

But anyway, I couldn't care less, nothings gonna stop me. I've given it a thought and even they themselves wandered whether that I could handle it. My answer was a firm YES. And the quality of being firm is itself a virtue as Confucius rightly says so, "The firm, the enduring, the simple, and the modest are near to virtue."

As of now, the songs I've become familiarized to are:

  1. BourrÄ—e for Bach
  2. Smoke gets in your eyes
  3. William Tell Overture
  4. I'll be there
PLUS

an additional 3 scores which I just got

  1. You raise me up
  2. Moondance
  3. Loch Lomond
